Established in 2009, Bhagwan Mahavir School of Nursing is one of the leading nursing education institutions in Gujarat. The school of nursing is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council and Gujarat Nursing Council. Each year 40 students are admitted to General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course. Bhagwan Mahavir School of Nursing has progressively grown in strength and scope over the years. It has highly qualified faculty, excellent infrastructure and good affiliated hospitals, which provide a wholesome experience in nursing education. New Civil Hospital, Surat is the affiliated hospital for training, which is having 1200 beds with all specialities & Super specialities providing the student clinical experience under one roof. CAD LAB
CAD laboratory is the vital and fully equipped with latest 2D and 3D software and hardware along with experienced staff members to cope up the needs of our students from Designing (CAD).
A special guidance is provided to students of Mechanical engineering for subjects like Engineering Graphics, Computer Aided Machine Design, Geometric Modelling, Computer Oriented Numerical Methods, CAD, etc.
EME LAB
EME laboratory is the vital and fully equipped with 4-stroke and 2 stroke petrol and diesel engine ,boilers,gears,cam profiles models with experienced staff members .
RAC LAB
We offer wide range of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Laboratory Equipments for analysis of refrigeration cycle in different areas of application.
TOM -DOM LAB
Mechanisms form the basis of any machine and it is an assemblage of rigid bodies so that they move upon each other with definite relative motion. Objectives of this Theory of Machines lab are to impart practical knowledge on design and analysis of mechanisms for the specified type of motion in a machine. With the study of rigid bodies motions and forces for the transmission systems, machine kinematics and dynamics can be well understood.
Demonstration exercises are provided with varieties of transmission element models to understand machine kinematics. Various experiments with governors, gyroscopes, balancing machines and universal vibration facilities are available to understand machine dynamics.
HT LAB
Heat transfer laboratory is designed by keeping in mind all the requirements to understand heat transfer subject at UG level. Machines like thermal conductivity of insulating powder apparatus, Composite wall, natural convection apparatus, pin fin apparatus, heat exchanger test rig are available in the Lab for taking trials and experimentation. This will not only enhance the theoretical knowledge of the student but also imparts a practical understanding and a feel of heat transfer and its applications.
ICE LAB
I C Engine lab is well equipped with Computerized multi cylinder Petrol Engine Test rig,Diesel Engine Test rig and Automotive Exhaust gas analyser.
On Computerized Petrol Engine Test rig we can performed Morse Test, P-? Test and Heat Balance sheet calculations.Report of all the test can be generated in MS word and Excel files on the computer interfaced with the test rig.
Diesel engine Test rig is a in-house project done by our BE Mechanical students. We can calulate all efficiencies and Heat Balance sheet by using this test rig.
MMM LAB
The objectives of Mechanical Measurements & Metrology lab is to demonstrate the theoretical concepts taught in Mechanical Measurements & Metrology. To understand and use various measuring tools. To understand calibration of various measuring devices. To understand the basic measurement units and able to calibrate various measuring devices. To express error and correction factors of various measuring devices. To use measuring tools such as Sine Bar, Sine Center, Bevel Protractor, Tool Maker Microscope, Gear Tooth Micrometer, Optical Flats etc.
MSMT LAB
MSMT lab is equipped with the machine like jominy & quench appratus, polishing machine, optical microscope to observe different parmeters of materials.
FMHM LAB
We have combined FM-HM Lab with different machine likes turbines, pumps for hydraulic process. we have mechanics to measure flow parameter like orifice, nozzlemeter, venturimeter,etc.
EG LAB
We have well equipped lab with facilities like tubelights, stools, green board and various poster related to first angle and third angle drawing.
WORKSHOP
Workshop is very important part for any engineering college. workshop is usefull for students to understand real life problems which they will face. we machinery like welding equipment, lathe machine, shaper machine, grinding machines, drilling machines,etc.

CAM LAB
It is one of the important laboratories for degree students for their course curriculum.Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) also known as Computer-aided Modeling or Computer-aided Machining is the use of software to control machine tools and related ones in the manufacturing of work pieces. CAM is used in many schools alongside Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create objects.
Admission Description
All the colleges offer admission to BSc nursing course on the basis of an entrance examination conducted either by NTA or the colleges itself. A few colleges conduct merit based admissions.
The candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by each college before filling the admission forms. Candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria will have to go through the steps mentioned below.
Eligibility Criteria
BSc Nursing Eligibility
- The minimum age limit for BSc Nursing admission 2021 is 17 years.
- The maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Candidates should have completed 10+2 level of education with Physics, Biology, English and Chemistry as core subjects.
- The minimum merit percentage requirement varies for different bsc nursing colleges.
- Apart from minimum merit score, candidates must also have met the cut-off requirements in the qualifying entrance examinations.
GNM Nursing Eligibility
The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has set standard eligibility criteria for the GNM Nursing diploma course. The eligibility criteria are uniform across the states but the allotment of seats is carried out on the basis of the reservation rules of the respective state. Below is the eligibility criteria laid by the INC:
- The aspirant must have cleared class 12 with English and must have secured a minimum of 40 per cent in aggregate in the qualifying examination and English separately from any recognized board State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible for State Open School recognized by the State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However, aspirants with a Science stream will be given preference
- The aspirant must have passed class 12 with English securing 40 per cent in aggregate in vocational ANM course from any Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing council
- The aspirant must have passed class 12 with English securing 40 per cent in aggregate in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre
- The aspirant must be a Registered ANM having a qualifying mark
- The GNM is a three-year diploma course in Nursing with six months of a mandatory internship is the diploma course that can be pursued after class 12 irrespective of the stream taken in the qualifying exam (class 12). After completing the GNM nursing diploma, the candidate is also eligible to pursue BSc Nursing below are some of the renowned BSc nursing entrance exams in India.

Application Process
Candidates applying for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course should adhere to the following steps:
- Candidates should apply for admission online on the college website.
- Appear in the entrance exam required and must prepare and score extremely well to qualify and get a good All India Rank (AIR).
- Candidates can then shortlist the colleges based on their scores and the counselling session.
- After the counselling session, candidates should accept the seat in the colleges alloted to them.
- Candidates can finalise the admission by paying the admission fee in the given time.
BSc Nursing Admission 2021: Counselling
- After you have been shortlisted for BSc nursing admission on the basis of your score in the entrance test, you are required to go through a round of admission counseling.
- Counseling is nothing but submission of important documents such as certificates of previous examinations, personal ID proofs, BSc Nursing application forms.
- The candidates are then asked to pay the admission fee within the scheduled date and accept the college admission.
